Roxanne Cook
Assistant Ecologist
Roxanne is an assistant ecologist who joined The Ecology Co-op in April 2025. They hold a BSc in Environmental Science with a Year in Industry which involved working as a research assistant in Southeast Spain in soil and semi-arid plant ecology. They also have a background in conservation policy in relation to endangered species threatened by trade (CITES - Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
Roxanne has experience in practical conservation and a variety of species surveys, with a specific interest in botany and habitat assessments.
Outside of work they enjoy hiking, cycling and environmentally friendly forms of travel, such as interrailing across Europe.
