About Emily
Emily Davies
Assistant Ecologist
Emily is an Assistant Ecologist who joined the team in January 2025. She has a BSc (Hons) in Zoology with Herpetology and is originally from North Wales. Emily’s previous experience includes working in both small animal and mixed veterinary practices.
Emily has gained well rounded knowledge of the UK’s protected species through various survey experience and has been the project manager for several home-owner and developer projects throughout Kent and East Sussex.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her cat, Bee, and looking after her menagerie of tropical frogs.
Key Experience:
Survey experience for bats, reptiles, great crested newts and badgers
Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) for reptiles and assisted with GCN works
UKHab and BNG
Writing reports incl. Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Bat Scoping, Bat Emergence and Ecological Impact Assessments
