Designed to encourage school children to engage with their outdoor environment.
The Ecology Co-operation provide educational lessons about the benefits our habitats provide for wildlife.
We teach the children how to identify many of the creatures that will call our ‘Wildlife Gardens’ home and explain why such environments must be maintained and managed to ensure those creatures continue to have a home in years to come.
Some of our services offer the opportunity for the children to get involved with creating the habitats and learning as they build. We offer a friendly but safe environment where children can build, play and learn about their natural environment and the animals and insects that come with it.
Features and Services provided:
All services include an educational lesson during or after to explain about the feature being created, what animals it will attract (including live examples where possible), as well as how and why it may need to be managed.
